I dreamed Frist about goingto a party and discovering that everyone had more money than me, or atleast thought about it diffrently. I'd been given the task of splitting up a bunch of art supplies and wehn I embaressdly said that the total came to $29 each, they all went, 'well that's not so much. What's with the face?'
Then the dream got awesome, as I entered a FF game. It seemed to focus around Hojo mutateiung moogles to fuel a giant werid devic that he talked to. As ithappens the character I controed was Even, and to make a long story short, I got to see the fight, which was eaiser than I anticipated (I remember distincgty hitting the triangle button very rapidly) and the ending cutscene.
I liked hte part where Even grabbed him around the neck and punched him repeatedly in the kidneys. 8D And then he got thrown into the swirling engine of doom he'd been making the mutated moogles walk into, and I think Even steered the entire planet destroyr up so it wouldn't hurt anythign when it blew up and then there was the end. Well, I enjoyed it.
1. A magic eraser- not only does it erase all of the pencil lines, you can start it and walk away, and it will erase all of the pencils on the page.
2. A binding shirt that looks like a man's chest.
3. Boots and socks that stay in pairs, no matter what.
4. Sharp scissors.
5. People to draw mistletoe when they mean mistletoe. They don't even LOOK the same, people.
6. A proofreader on tap, who won't pick apart my jokes when all I'm looking for is spelling, and is available WHEN I NEED THEM, not when they get to it.
Have you ever felt uncomfortable when an artist you admire and like their work express an opinion you consider extreme and unjustified. At the same time, it's their opinion and they have a right to it, but when you follow an artist, on a certain level, even if you try not to, you think of them as a parifral freind. So it's weird to think of them being so intolerant. And maybe even hating you by association, because you enjoy this thing they dislike
Then you have to consider the internet filter. The slightest off hand comment becomes your new gospel, even if you just meant it as a ffft of blowing off steam.
Now I've never been one to equate a persons politics or fandom!prefrences with their work. I'm genraly easy to gt along with,I like most things, and the things I disike (Zemyx, for instance) are more like finding peices of cheese in your salad than anything really important. Sometimes it's not so bad, but if you remember, you avoid it. (Heck, I admit it. Some of it is adorable.) If People do things I like, then I like those things. IF they do alot of them, I tentively like them as well. It's not hard. My love for people inividualy is only rivaled for my annoyance at society as a whole. evreyone does things they probably shouldn't so it's not that big a deal if one or two things are disagreed on, esppecaily if you're fairly sure it's never going to come up.
So how much is being uptight and how much is standing up for what you beleive in?
Edit: I am hellva passive aggressive. I am talking around the subject because I don't want people to get offended.
SO
In a healing fashion I say the following: It makes me uncomfortable when people talk derogatorily about Fandom-Based OCS and interpretations of character's pasts. -That's- what I'm mumbling about under my breath.
Edit the Second: Seriously. I didn't realize there was any kind of stink elsewhere on this subject. This was just a little badly worded vent that has been building up steam for a while. Bad timing I guess
